Owned by Grupo Comar, Casino Maritim is located on the island of Menorca off the coast of Spain. Menorca is a popular holiday destination and Maritim is one of the only casinos on the island.

There are plenty of things to do on the island, including visiting one of the various beaches or going on a nature excursion. Los Delfines Aqua Park, Es Moli de Dalt, Santa Agueda Castle, and Necropolis Caves are also popular tourist destinations.

Menorca Airport is 6 km away from the casino and will take you approximately 10 minutes to drive there. From the airport you have the option of either taking a taxi or renting a car. There is complimentary parking available at the casino.

Casino Maritim

Casino Maritim is located in a small building that has two floors. The main gaming hall offers up 10 table games and roughly 20 electronic machines. There is a separate poker room as well as a restaurant/bar. The casino is open every day from 4 PM to 2 AM.

The main attraction at this casino is its selection of roulette games, which includes both live and electronic tables. Their poker tournaments and daily cash games are also popular and are held in Casino Maritim’s poker room. There are a handful of high limit games available for roulette and poker.

The casino hosts weekly promotions with raffles that allow guests to win various vouchers and cash prizes. Gamblers are automatically entered into these weekly competitions upon playing at any blackjack or poker table.

The bar offers various specials and provides gamblers with free snacks while they play. They even have a weekly drink special which drops the prices of their premium drinks to a standard $7.

Table Games at Casino Maritim

The table games at Casino Maritim are divided between live tables and iTables. There are 10 live tables and 10 iTables. The games on offer are blackjack, poker, and roulette.

All of the roulette games here feature the American variety. There are 2 live roulette tables and 8 electronic machines with betting limits that range from €0.50 to €1000.

Blackjack is only offered at live tables but there are plenty to choose from. Each table offers different minimum and maximum betting limits.

Poker Room at Casino Maritim

Casino Maritim features its own poker room. There are multiple tables featuring different poker varieties where gamblers have the option to play live cash games, poker tournaments, or sit & go’s. Tournaments are hosted every week from Thursday to Saturday. Texas Hold‘Em is the primary variety used for all of these games.

The poker room is also home to a few iTables. These devices still make use of a dealer but all betting takes place digitally on the tablets provided.

Slots and Video Poker at Casino Maritim

Slot machines are available, although there are only 25 machines located in the back of the main gaming hall. Bets start at €0.05 and go up to €25 per spin. Some machines are linked to a local progressive jackpot which often ranges from €1000 – €10000.

In addition to slots, there are also a few video poker machines.

Hotel and Accommodations at Casino Maritim

Casino Maritim does not have a hotel but the island of Menorca has numerous options within driving distance. Nearby options include Barcelo Hamilton Menorca which has a swimming pool, gym, beach access, and complimentary breakfast. This hotel will cost you around €125 per night for a standard room.

Alternatively, you can stay at Hotel Sur Menorca which is a 15-minute drive from Casino Maritim but it’s slightly cheaper at around €75 per night. Amenities include free parking, WiFi, and complimentary breakfast.

Restaurants at Casino Maritim

There are two facilities that offer food at Casino Maritim, namely La Terraza Restaurant and the Snack Bar.

These two options are quite different. The bar mainly serves beverages and light meals, while the restaurant offers full meals. La Terraza Restaurant features an outdoor dining area and offers a range of main courses, beverages, and desserts. The outdoor area provides views of the surrounding city and sea.

Both of these restaurants require the same semi-casual dress code as the casino itself. The operational hours vary slightly with both the restaurant and bar closing at 2 AM but the bar opening at 4 PM and the restaurant opening for dinner service at 6 PM.
