Suncoast is a locals casino located in the western Las Vegas Valley suburb of Summerlin. Suncoast Hotel & Casino is owned by Boyd Gaming and uses the BConnected players club.

The gaming at Suncoast is right around average for a locals casino, but there are no 100% video poker games. The blackjack is slightly worse here than at its neighboring property, Rampart Casino. Craps, roulette and all other table games are on par with competitors in the locals market. There is also a sportsbook and bingo hall.

There are 12 restaurants at Suncoast; several of them are new and opened after Boyd Gaming took on the commitment of refreshing its dining options a few years ago. There are a number of entertainment options at Suncoast including a movie theater, bowling alley and showroom with lounge acts or performers that appeal to Suncoast’s older clientele.

Casino at Suncoast

There are 28 table games at Suncoast, with the most popular game being double deck blackjack. It has $5-$1,000 limits and is spread across nearly half the tables (11 tables). Double down before and after splitting are permitted. Blackjack pays 3-2 at these tables and the dealer hits soft 17. There are two six-deck shoes with the same limits and rules.

There is also 1 $5-$1,000 single deck blackjack game. Double down is permitted and the dealer hits soft 17. Blackjack only pays 6-5 at this table, making it the worst blackjack game at Suncoast.

There are three double zero roulette tables with limits of $5-$1,000. There are four Pai Gow Poker tables with $5-$1,000 limits. Two baccarat tables have $10-$1,000 limits. Ultimate Texas Hold’em is $5 to $25. Three Card Poker is $5 to $100.

There are two craps tables with limits of $5-$1,000 and 10 times odds. The Field pays triple on 12.

Video Poker

While there are no 100% video poker games at Suncoast, there are many in the 99%+ range. This is a vast improvement over previous years when the best game was 8/5 Bonus Poker. These days, players will find payouts as high as 99.8% (at Triple Bonus Plus and is on a bank of “Up to 99.8%” machines). Not-so-ugly Deuces Wild (99.73%), 9/6 Bonus Poker Deluxe (99.64%) and Bonus Deuces Wild (99.4%) are among the other games on these devices. There are several banks of Triple Double Bonus (99.58%) which are marked with “99% payback”.

Bingo

There is a bingo hall on the second floor that seats up to 600 players. There are eight sessions per day starting at 9 AM, then there is a new session every two hours until 11 PM.

BConnected Player Reward Program

BConnected is the players card for most Boyd Gaming properties. Players earn one point for every dollar wagered on slots and video poker. Guests can convert 600 points into $1 at food outlets owned by Boyd Gaming. That converts into 0.167%.

Cash back, free play and food at outlets not owned by Boyd Gaming require 1,000 for every dollar. This converts into 0.1%. These figures are based on the Ruby level. Sapphire players earn at double that rate. The return for Emerald players is triple.

BConnected gives active players special offers including free play, food comps and hotel rooms.

Sportsbook at Suncoast

There is a sports and race book on the south end of the property next to the movie theater. It uses Boyd Gaming lines. Bettors can deposit and withdrawal for the BConnected app at the Suncoast sportsbook. Each seat has a monitor at the Suncoast sportsbook.
