On the busy Talbot Street in the capital city of Ireland is a small gambling hall called Playland Casino Dublin. The casino is open weekdays from 10 AM to 1 AM while on Fridays and Saturdays they are open until from 10 AM to 1:30 AM. Playland Casino invites all guests over the age of 18 to gamble at their establishment and there is no specific dress code here.

This casino is very easy to get to; just flag down a taxi or take the train to Connolly Station. If you are flying into Dublin International Airport, then it is just a short 25-minute drive to get to Talbot Street.

While Dublin has its fair share of tourist attractions, including Abbey Theatre, Memorial Plaque, the James Conolly Memorial and many other historical sites, it is also well-known for its many gambling halls, card rooms and casinos. If you are not a fan of historical sites, then there are also many pubs on and around Talbot Street.

Casino at Playland

Playland Casino in Dublin is a modern gambling venue with marble floors and other classy decor. They make use of different decorating elements (such as special lighting and sounds) to create a fun and cheerful environment.

One of the most important features of Playland Casino is that there are no dealers or live table games. Table games are automated and electronic and, of course, so are the slots. If you are actively playing any games here, complimentary drinks and snacks are provided.

Table Games at Playland Casino

There is only one type of table game offered at Playland Casino Dublin, and it is not exactly your traditional style of roulette. All of the roulette tables here are electronic. Players have a virtual screen featuring a layout similar to a traditional roulette table which is used to place bets. While the wheel is real, each spin is completely automated.

They are, however, the latest in electronic roulette technology. Despite the lack of a pit boss, playing on one of their many electronic roulette tables still feels like the real deal. The casino prides itself on having this state-of-the-art technology and even make the bold claim that they are one of the most reliable electronic roulette providers in Ireland.

Slots and Video Poker at Playland Casino

Playland Casino Dublin is part of the new age of modern casinos because all of its games are fully electronic. As such, there is an entire casino floor dedicated to slot machines, with over 200 different slots to choose from. Their slot titles range from classic “reel” machines and video versions of the classics to modern multi-line machines.

The slot machines are where you will likely find a few high rollers because some of the slots here have quite high limits, which tend to be on some of the more modern machines. There are also a few progressive jackpot slots available here.
