Anchored at the junction of interstate 80 and interstate 74, Rhythm City Casino Resort in Davenport is the newest casino development in eastern Iowa. Formerly a riverboat operation located in the downtown section of the city, the land-based property celebrated its grand opening on June 16th, 2016. The resort boasts a total of 106 hotel rooms including 5 suites, over 15,000 square feet of event space, just under 35,000 square feet of casino space, a spa, and bar/dining options.
Although not in Las Vegas, Rhythm City Casino has all the amenities and ambiance of a modern Las Vegas casino. The casino floor hosts slots, table games, and a poker room, all flanked by two lounges. Smoking is allowed on the casino floor, but for those who are non-smokers, a state-of-the-art air filtration system and non-smoking sections are available.
Almost 800 slot and video poker machines pepper the casino floor. Offerings include modern games such as Game of Thrones, Weird Wicked and Wild, and Ultimate X Poker, as well as classics like Sun and Moon and Double Cherry Bar. For those that crave higher stakes action, a high limit slot lounge rests on the east side of the casino floor.
Rhythm City hosts 2 craps tables with a bet range of $5 to $500. Both tables offer 20x odds.
The casino has 12 blackjack tables with bet ranges of $5 to $100, $10 to $200, $15 to $300, and $25 to $500. Two tables offer a Twenty One Plus Three variant for extra action.
The poker room at Rhythm City Casino offers 8 tables of cash game and tournament poker action. No limit holdem tournaments are offered on Mondays and Wednesdays at 6:00 pm, and then again on the last Sunday of the month at 1:00 pm. Fixed limit cash games start at $3-$6 stakes with a minimum buy-in of 5x the big bet. No limit cash games are offered at $1-$2 blinds with a buy-in range of $50 to $300, $2-$5 blinds with a buy-in range of $200 to $1000, and $5-$10 blinds with a minimum buy-in of $500 with no maximum. Buy-in amounts may be adjusted upon player request at the discretion of poker room staff. A Bad Beat Jackpot is available to qualifying cash games.
Rhythm City Casino Resort boasts four dining opportunities, including one fine dining experience.
Robert’s Buffet is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner, and has menu motifs that rotate daily. Join them on weekends for breakfast, or visit Sunday for brunch from 11:00 am through 2:00 pm.
Draft Day Sports Lounge is the place to dine and drink while catching your favorite sporting event. A huge 360 degree monitor rests above the center of the dining floor to ensure a great view from any seat in the house. Appetizers, sandwiches, and flat are all waiting to be paired with a great selection of local craft beers or your favorite macro brew.
The Market is your 24/7 stop for on-the-go options like salads and sandwiches, coffee, and breakfast items. The Market doubles as a gift shop.
Ruthie’s Steak and Seafood is the fine dining option at Rhythm City. Resting atop the hotel tower, Ruthie’s is dining with a view. Enjoy your favorite steak, lobster, and the like while a west-facing view displays the beautiful Iowa sunset. Ruthie’s opens at 5:00 pm Tuesday through Sunday.
The resort offers two bars with different entertainment experiences. Located on the south side of the casino floor, The Feature Bar is a piano-themed space with a relaxed atmosphere and comfortable seating. Visit with company all while you enjoy a wide array of micro and macro brews or your favorite cocktail. On the north side of the casino floor sits the Rhythm Room. Here you can enjoy live music, Thursday through Sunday, and cocktail servers are available 7 days a week. Feel like dancing? A huge dance floor in the center of the room is more than accommodating.
The property hosts many large regional and national musicians, comedians, and other acts. Visit the events and promotions page of their website for more information.
