These will generally be casual gamblers, so the atmosphere should generally be light-hearted.
You will find a small selection of tables and a little more than a dozen gaming machines that players can enjoy. Most games will be low stakes here as the casino is not really aiming its services at the more serious gamblers.
There are 4 gaming tables at the Barceló Playa Tambor Resort & Casino and these will run a mix of traditional table games mixed with some local favorites. One of those tables will be an American Roulette table which is often one of the more popular games on the casino floor. A single blackjack table also attracts a crowd of players and a good atmosphere among the tourists at the resort.
Caribbean Stud Poker and Tute are the two other tables you will find at the casino in the Barceló Playa Tambor Resort with the latter being a Spanish trick-taking card game. If you have not played Tute before, it might be better to just avoid that table unless you want to take the time to learn the rules.
With only 14 gaming machines dotted around the casino floor, these might be your preferred choice for some casual gambling. There are no progressive jackpot slots here and the limits on the machines will generally be quite low – but you will find plenty of enjoyable video slots from some of the worlds leading slots developers.
The slot machines here are all very modern and well maintained. With such a small number of machines, they are often well-populated by tourists.
