Casino Tandil is located in the heart of Tandil, a town near the Sierras de Tandil mountain range in central Argentina. It is the biggest (and only) casino in the city.
Tandil is a city high up in the mountains (180m above sea level to be exact) and has no regional or international airports. The only way to travel to the casino in Tandil is to fly into Argentina via Buenos Aires International and then to take a bus the rest of the way.
Guests often enjoy visiting The Tradicionalista Fuerte Independencia Museum which focuses on local history. The replica of a huge boulder that was balanced on the Cerro La Movediza summit until it fell in 1912 is also a popular local attraction.
Casino Tandil is shaped like a castle and has 29,000 square foot gaming floor. The outside of the building has stone tiles and there is a large, pointed tower that lights up. The entrance to the casino is located through a bell-shaped archway that opens up to a foyer where you will have to pay the entrance. There is also a small shop there.
A large part of the casino gaming floor is taken up by the restaurant/bar and seating area where the occasional live music or comedy events take place.
The opening times of the casino are Sunday-Thursday from 3 PM to 3 AM and Friday-Saturday from 3 PM to 3 AM.
