On the corner of Avenue Centenario and Avenue Corrientes in Posadas is Casino Club Centenario. It is an electronic gaming facility that is owned and operated by Casino Club SA; a company with more than 25 casinos and slot parlors throughout the country of Argentina. They own a total of 8 casinos in the city of Posadas alone.
Posadas is a border city in Northeastern Argentina. The nearest airport, Libertador General Jose de San Martin, is just outside the city and offers flights from most international and regional airports in South America. Transport is available to the city by taxi, bus, or a rented car.
The border with Paraguay is separated by the Parana River, which means visitors can enjoy boat rides, fishing, and sundowners here. Otherwise one may visit the nearby Parque Libera, The Ecological Puma Reserve, the Artificial Waterfall, and various camping locations.
The legal gambling age in Argentina is 18 years old and this applies to electronic gambling machines as well. There is no dress code at Casino Club Centenario.
The casino is located inside of a single-floor building that houses their collection of 130 electronic gaming machines as well as their in-house café. The interior decor is simple with colorful carpets and neon lighting. Gamblers are spoiled for choice when it comes to slots and electronic games at Casino Club Centenario. They have one of the largest selections of machines in the entire city, which provides gamblers with a host of betting options, game varieties, and jackpots. The café in the building provides guests with drinks and snacks while they gamble or from the comfort of their bar tables.
The casino opens at 10 AM and closes at 4 AM on Sundays to Thursdays. On Friday and Saturday, the casino is open at the same time but closes one hour later, at 5 AM.
Virtual roulette is the only table game available at Casino Club Centenario and it hosts an American wheel. It also happens to be the highest limit game with a maximum bet of $50. Players make their bets on a touchscreen terminal and use bank notes to place wagers.
The slots and other gaming machines at Casino Club Centenario are what most gamblers come to enjoy. These games include traditional slot machines, video slot machines, progressive jackpot slots, and video poker.
The traditional and video slot machines each offer different betting options, single and mulitline reels. The machines are grouped into various sections of the casino based on what game they offer with titles such as Cleopatra and King Neptune.
